Staying in Fuji or Fujinomiya? We can meet you at your hotel instead, at no extra charge — tell us when you reply. To cancel, use the link in your confirmation email; it takes one click.
From now to the tour
- Reply with your plans. Reply to your confirmation email by the date above (if you booked after that date, within 24 hours). Landing in Japan that day? Add your flight number.
- We plan the day with you. We suggest a route around your trains and what you'd like to see, and set up a group chat or email thread with your guide. Your guide is in that thread on the day.
- Meet your guide. Your guide waits right outside the Shin-Fuji Station ticket gate with a "Fuji Soul Tours" sign. Only the Kodama stops at Shin-Fuji.
- Meet your guide. Your guide meets you at the place we agreed. Coming by Shinkansen? Only the Kodama stops at Shin-Fuji.
If you're running late
Message your guide in the group chat or email thread as soon as you know. A delayed train counts the same way.
- Up to 30 minutes late: you keep your full four hours — the tour just finishes later.
- More than 30 minutes late: the tour ends at the original time, or you can extend for $60 per 30 minutes by van, $120 by mini bus (per group, not per person), paid online on the day on our payments page.
If we haven't heard from you: we wait at the meeting point for 30 minutes from the agreed start time (10:00 AM JST if no time is agreed by 6:00 PM JST the day before). If you don't arrive in that window, it's a no-show and the booking is non-refundable.
Your bags
Suitcases fit for groups of up to 3 guests. Four or five of you, or more than one large case each? Tell us your bag count when you reply.
Or leave your bags at Shin-Fuji Station. Both options are outside the ticket gates.

Coin lockers
¥300–800 per locker. Cash or a Japanese transit card (Suica, PASMO, ICOCA — including Suica in Apple Wallet). No credit cards.
Tourist Information Center
08:30–17:00 — collect your bags by 17:00. Cash only: ¥400, ¥600 or ¥800 per bag, by size. More room than the lockers. No cash, valuables, passports, animals or hazardous items.
Bring some yen. Entry fees, food and drinks are paid on the spot at each stop, and some places take cash only.
