The Weekday Mt. Fuji Tour.

We run a small group tour on selected days, October–December 2026 — open dates are on the calendar. Pick the date you want and book — USD 148 per person (ages 6–80), charged at booking with instant confirmation (up to 15 guests). Every date on the calendar is guaranteed to run, however many guests have booked. We choose the vehicle by group size: a shared van for a smaller group, a shared mini bus for a larger one. Bookings stay open until 3 days before.

If you cancel, there is no refund and no date change — all sales are final. We leave at 9:00 sharp and can't wait for late arrivals; if you miss the departure, there is no refund and no date change. The one exception is when the decision is ours: if we ever have to cancel your tour (for example, a typhoon), you choose a free transfer to another tour date or a full refund of everything you paid.

The private tour is fully customizable — you choose your time, stops and pace, in about 4 hours. It takes 1–5 guests by van, or 6–15 by private mini bus from October 2026. The group tour is a shared 6-hour experience on a set model course, with the same local bilingual guide, by shared van or mini bus. Worth knowing if you're a big party: from 11 guests the private mini bus works out at USD 98 per adult — less per person than this group tour, and the bus is all yours.

The price covers your local bilingual guide and shared van or mini bus transport for the day. Lunch, tea, entrance fees and other on-site costs are not included — you pay for those as you go.

It still runs. Every date on the calendar is a guaranteed departure — even with a single guest. We simply match the vehicle to the group: a shared van for a smaller group, a shared mini bus for a larger one.

Only a regular backpack can come on board — suitcases and large backpacks can't. Before the 9:00 departure, leave them at Shin-Fuji Station in one of two places, both outside the ticket gates: (1) the coin lockers — ¥300–800 per locker, paid in cash or with a Japanese transit card (Suica, PASMO, ICOCA — including Suica in Apple Wallet); credit cards aren't accepted; or (2) the luggage storage at the Shin-Fuji Station Tourist Information Center (open 08:30–17:00, so aim to arrive at 08:30–08:45) — cash only, no cards, per bag, per day: ¥400 (three sides under 115 cm total), ¥600 (115–159 cm) or ¥800 (160 cm or more). The center does not accept cash, valuables or passports — keep those with you. Collect your bags after the tour ends at 15:00. Locker space is limited, so the center is the safer choice for large cases.
